Easter Message from the Pastor

– a time to make a start on the garden, to launch intoeaster question2 some DIY, or plan a few days out (if the weather is good)? or time for a great family meal?  Then there are the chocolates, the Easter eggs, the Easter egg hunt, and lots of pictures of spring flowers, cute bunnies & chicks in the shops.

Yet is that all Easter is about? – Surely it is more than that?

Easter is about good news, great news, probably the best news ever spoken!  This good news was first told in a graveyard!  It was told to grieving and confused people who came looking for Jesus’ body and they were told;

“He is not here; He has risen.” (The Gospel of Luke chapter 24 verse 6)

This Easter we will declare that ‘Good News’ again (we do all the time, but especially at Easter).

We invite everyone to come and join with us this Easter Sunday as we will rejoice at the ‘Good News’ of the risen Saviour.

Our Easter Sunday service starts at 10:45am.  There will be Sunday School and Crèche facilities as usual along with refreshments after the service.  If you are unable to make Easter Sunday, then you are welcome to come along anytime, to any of our services.
