Service Information – 6 Sept

This week we celebrate our 40th Anniversary! We had planned to hold an event at church but this is temporarily on hold until we re-open.  So please join us online at Gareth breaks away from the Upper Room and Joseph in Genesis and focuses on a passage in Hebrews.

There are two ways for you to take part in our Online Services in your homes. Visually via our YouTube Channel or you can listen to the audio on our Website Sermon Page. (Once on the Website sermon page click on the individual sermon name to get access to a description of the sermon, sermons notes and global links for the hymns listed below.)

Morning Service

Hymn: O Church arise
Reading: Hebrews 13:1-9
Hymn: All the way my Saviour leads me
The message: Living life for our awesome God.

This past week Doncaster Evangelical Church celebrated its 40th anniversary. In our midweek service founding members shared about that exciting time all those years ago.

Throughout those 40 years the church has had its ups and downs, testing times and times of blessing. We are still in existence and have the same aim to reach out to the people of Doncaster, from all backgrounds and nationalities, with the gospel of the Lord Jesus – the message that still gives true hope.

Hymn: Restore O Lord

Evening Service

Hymn: O what a wonderful, wonderful day
Reading: Hebrews 13:1-9
Hymn: Here from the world we turn
The Message: Delighting in the Grace of our awesome God.

Again we are looking at the passage we read this morning as we marked the church’s 40th anniversary. In these last two verses we look at the relationship between the congregation and the church leaders and the reliance they have on each other.

Hymn: Great is Thy faithfulness

Please pray for our church as we look at ways of safely opening our doors again.

(Sermons will be available on both formats Sunday morning)
