Lessons from Mary (John 20:1-18)

Part of the Easter series, preached at a Sunday Evening service
Mary and her friends had the shock of their lives when they discovered Jesus’ grave was empty. Mary did not rejoice but wept even more, but her world, indeed all the world was about to be turned upside down and inside out as she would come to encounter the risen Saviour Jesus. Pray we too would encounter Jesus in our own lives and be radically changed too, so that our lives would be filled with joy and wonder.
