Can we (and do we) confess our sin? (1 John 1:5-10)

Tom RestonTom Reston, September 12, 2021
Part of the Characteristics of Discipleship series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Over 60 years ago I repented of my sin, and I knew I had been wonderfully saved from the penalty for my sin, there and then. BUT since then I have needed to confess my ongoing sins, to restore my relationship with God, who hates me sinning. Because I know Jesus died for my sins, I know I should not continue sinning. But I do and therefore I need to confess my sin.
Do you have a problem confessing your sins to God?
