Pilate's problem prisoner (John 19:1-16)

Rev Gareth JamesRev Gareth James, April 10, 2022
Part of the Easter series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Pilate was trying to remain neutral about Jesus. He knew the Jews wanted Jesus dead, but he didn’t want to do that. Pilate shows we cannot be neutral about Jesus. Some may feel they can – keep Jesus safely at a distance, or in reserve for a time of need, or to ask help from when we need it, but we cannot remain neutral about Him as we are either on His side or against Him.
