At DEC we take seriously the care of children, young people and adults at risk of harm.  We see safeguarding as part of our biblical mandate to love, serve and care for one another.  We work hard to ensure we operate in line with current best practice and follow statutory and specialist guidelines, as recommended by thirtyone:eight (independent safeguarding specialists).
