“Be like a Berean”

It’s common to read your Bible and feel like you’ve come across certain passages before.  This happens because some passages help clarify others, and important messages are often repeated for emphasis.

The Westminster Confession of Faith says, “The whole counsel of God, concerning all things necessary for His own glory, man’s salvation, faith, and life, is either expressly set down in Scripture, or by good and necessary consequence may be deduced from Scripture: unto which nothing at any time is to be added, whether by new revelations of the Spirit, or traditions of men.”

For this year’s Bible Study, we will be delving into both the Berean Study Bible and the Church History Study Bible to connect related passages and provide commentary from various scholars.  We hope this weekly series inspires and supports you in your Bible reading journey.

“Now the Bereans were more noble-minded..…for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if these teachings were true.”
